Accessibility
WARNING — MANDATORY COMPLIANCE NOT REPLACEABLE BY THIS PAGE
For public administrations, the accessibility statement must be drafted exclusively through the online application form.agid.gov.it, which generates a unique link to be included in the footer of the site. A handwritten text, no matter how complete, does not meet the obligation set by Law 4/2004.
The completion is the responsibility of the Digital Transition Manager of the Municipality, who must have their email published on IndicePA to access the platform. The update is annual, with a deadline of September 23.
This page serves two purposes: to provide visitors with useful information right away, and to provide the Municipality with ready material to include in the AgID form.
Our Commitment
This site was created as part of a project dedicated to the accessibility of the path. A site that tells accessible places must be accessible itself: it would be a contradiction hard to explain.
We are committed to making the site usable by as many people as possible, regardless of the technology used and their abilities.
Compliance Status
[To be determined by the Municipality based on a verification. The options provided by the AgID model are: compliant, partially compliant, non-compliant.]
The site was created following the Guidelines on the accessibility of IT tools from AgID and the criteria of WCAG 2.1 level AA.
What We Have Done
Structure and navigation. The pages have a coherent hierarchy of titles, a link to skip directly to the content, and are fully navigable by keyboard, with the focus point always visible.
Contrast and fonts. The colors have been checked one by one to ensure the required contrast ratio. The text can be enlarged up to two hundred percent without loss of content or functionality.
Information never relies solely on color. The degrees of accessibility are read in three ways together — word, number, and bar — and the markers on the map carry a symbol in addition to the color.
The maps have a textual alternative. Below each map, a list provides the same data in text form, with the same links: those who cannot use the map do not miss anything.
Audio guides and sign language. The places are described by an audio guide for those who cannot see and by a video in Italian Sign Language for deaf individuals, created by an interpreter. The audio guides have subtitles.
Customization tools. A panel allows enlarging the text, increasing contrast, activating a highly readable font, and a reading guide. Preferences remain active between visits.
Information collected, not estimated. The degrees of accessibility of the places come from inspections. Where the survey has not been conducted, the site declares it instead of making an estimate: unverified information on this topic does more harm than silence.
What Is Not Yet Working
[The Municipality should update this list based on the verification carried out. It must also be included in the AgID form, which asks for a precise indication of inaccessible content.]
We report what we know:
The photographs of the places do not have alternative text. The system does not yet provide the corresponding field: images are treated as decorative, and those using a screen reader do not receive a description of what they depict.
Audio guides and videos in sign language exist only in Italian. Those consulting the site in another language find the texts translated but not the multimedia content.
Not all places have an accessibility survey. Where it is missing, the card declares it.
The images uploaded in the editorial pages may not have adequate alternative text, as it depends on the author.
[Add the results of the verification: attached documents, forms, third-party content.]
Report an Accessibility Issue
If you encounter difficulty accessing content on this site, please write to us: reports are the most effective way we have to identify problems we may not have seen.
Email: [dedicated address]
Phone: [number]
Address: [Municipality headquarters]
Please indicate the page, what you were trying to do, and, if possible, what assistive technology you are using. We will respond within thirty days.
If the response is not satisfactory
If thirty days pass without a response, or if the response does not resolve the issue, it is possible to contact the Digital Ombudsman, established at the Agency for Digital Italy, through the form available at difensorecivicodigitale.agid.gov.it.
Report a Barrier Along the Path
This page concerns the accessibility of the site. To report an obstacle encountered along the route — a step, an impassable surface, a passage that is too narrow — there is a dedicated section: report a barrier.
