The story translated into Italian Sign Language by an interpreter.

The Church of the Madonnella in Martano is located on the north-eastern outskirts of the town, in a small triangular islet at the intersection of the Old Municipal Road of Lecce and SP 147. It is entirely made of exposed Lecce stone. The sides, marked by corner pilasters, each feature a portal with a broken pediment and a rectangular window. At the back stands a bell tower with a double opening. The main façade, more elaborate, is divided into three sections by four Ionic pilasters: in the center, the sculpted portal opens, crowned by the statue of the Virgin Mary, and a arched gridded window, topped by a mistilinear pediment with pinnacles; at the ends, two sculptural elements serve as acroteria. The interior, with a single nave on two bays covered by star vaults, houses a rich altar with the fresco of the Virgin Mary between the statues of Saint Dominic and Saint Peter of Alcantara.
