The Church of San Domenico is located in the center of Tricase, just a few steps from Piazza Vittoria. The exterior is characterized by a simple facade, with a large central door and two side windows that illuminate the interior. Upon entering, one immediately senses an atmosphere of tranquility. The ceiling is trussed, with exposed wooden beams. On the left, there is an altar dedicated to San Domenico, adorned with a statue of the saint. Opposite, the main altar is decorated with frescoes and stuccos that evoke Baroque art. The walls are adorned with works that tell the story of the community and the saints. To the right of the entrance, there is a small cloister, a corner of peace with plants and flowers. The church is a place of worship, but also a meeting point for local events. The atmosphere is intimate and welcoming, inviting reflection and calm.
